Ok, so if you know me even a little bit, you’d agree that I cook a lot. Not just on the days I’m blogging either…like at least 5 days a week [gotta save some days for going out, haha]. I’m always making something!
When the idea of a ‘Best Of’ list came up, it created a relatively large and really tough pool of items to choose only 10 from. So I decided to limit my selections to previously posted recipes which helped greatly, since I’ve only been blogging for 4 months, hehe.
Now that I think about it, 2013 was a damn fine year in food for me…
I expanded my taste parameters to items like Alligator and Turtle [gotta love New Orleans!], explored opportunities with food that I was otherwise ignorant about [see: Beans], learned that when it comes to Beets, there’s really nothin’ to it and for the first time ever, made me some Clam Chowdah!!
But most importantly, 2013 was the year I published my first blog capturing all this and end of year or not, each time I put up a post, I really do celebrate the opportunity to share it with you!
Thank you for the love and support you guys have given me from my first post, it’s really encouraging and helps me stay focused, so I can keep getting better and giving you the best of me and all things food!
